ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools in Sonora, CA, for the school year. Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher 
• Location: Sonora, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: Permanent position
• Hours: 35+ hours per week

Qualifications:

• Experience in the following preferred:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
• California SPED Teaching Certification 
• Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
• Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

Responsibilities:

• Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
• Update IEP goals,  assess students and write up the assessment report.
• Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
